Clawson Lodge - A history.

Wedding venue Nottingham, Clawson Lodge is a beautiful Grade II listed building designed by local architect Watson Fothergill in 1885.
Watson Fothergill was one of the leading local architects practicing in the Nottingham area from about 1870 to 1906. During his life he designed over a hundred buildings including houses, banks, churches, shops and warehouses; including Clawson Lodge. He worked in the Gothic revival and Old English vernacular styles; very popular in the Victorian times. These styles were loosely based on medieval churches and castles, and 16th & 17th century tudor buildings.

As you can see, Clawson Lodge is typical of Fothergill's style which makes it one of the best wedding venue Nottingham has to offer.
