Shevchenko Concert at Nottingham Wedding Venue

Clawson Lodge were proud to be part of the Shevchenko concert performed by The Nottingham Ukrainian Youth Orchestra & Choir plus also readings of poetry & the life story of the famous ukrainian writer Taras Shevchenko.


The day was a great success with over 100 attendee's. All who too part said that they are excited about doing repeating the event next year.

Couple celebrate their "perfect day" at Clawson Lodge

Recently married couple, Mr and Mrs Bytnar celebrated their wedding at Nottingham wedding venue Clawson Lodge this month. The couple opted for Clawson Lodge for the beautiful listed building because of its warm and intimate feel and with the sun shining, the landscaped gardens made the ideal place for taking photographs. Over 150 people attended and everyone agreed the day was perfect.

Clawson Lodge gets busy during Bank Holiday Weekend

Clawson Lodge was almost bursting to the rafters after last weekends Easter break. The Nottingham venue was getting into the swing of things by having something for everyone over the Bank Holiday weekend. Unusually, Ukrainian Easter also fell at the same time as English Easter so there was plenty to celebrate. The Easter celebrations continued through the weekend and finished with a BBQ celebration on Monday where guests were able to dance drink and be merry whilst enjoying a great bbq in the wonderful gardens at Clawson Lodge.

Claswson Lodge goes Football Crazy!

Nottingham wedding venue Clawson Lodge, has gone from tranquil wedding and party hire venue to football terrace this week as they were showing all of the Champions League and Europa League games on the giant screen in the hall. The giant screen is approximately 5m x 5m and with the top quality projector and sound system in place, supporters actually felt like they were at the game.

Clawson Lodge helping Ukrainian Charities

Clawson Lodge in Nottingham have started working with 2 charities on helping needy children in the Ukraine. Children in Ukrainian hospitals need help paying for life-saving medicines, not provided by the government. Most medicines have to be paid for and if the family is poor, or has spent all its money already, the child does not receive treatment. Clawson Lodge raised over £200 through holding a bazaar and various other fund raising initiatives for Lifeline to help children in Ukraine get the treatment they so badly need. 


Another charity which hold their meetings at Clawson Lodge every month is the Chernobyl Childrens Life Line. http://www.ccll.org.uk/ This organisation arranges visits to the UK for children to stay with host families, up to a month at a time.While they are here they have health checks & treatments for any ailments they have,mainly caused by the after effects of the Chernobyl disaster.
